Warranty
At Fluid kiteboarding we make products that are built to last. Our super high quality standard and unmatched level of service are the reason that many riders choose to ride with us.
We are so certain about our quality that we 'll offer a 3 year warranty period for any registered product.
Registration
Our terms and conditions are pretty simple to apply for a 3 year extended warranty period.
- Products must be registered within 40 days of purchase.
- All registrations must have an official invoice stating the product name and size clearly.
-The three years warranty excludes commercially used kites and boards, such as kiteschools, rentals etc., regular wear and tear and damage caused by accident, bags, leashes, and accessories.
- Only applies to first registered person and is not transferable.
KITES
Covered by warranty:
- Any manufacturer’s defect as determined by Fluid kiteboarding.
- Regular use or kite crashed in the water:
- Sewing / Stitching coming undone
- Leaking valve
- Burst bladder
- Leading edge or trailing edge damage and tears
- Broken bridle line
Not covered by warranty:
- Any problems resulting from misuse, abuse, impact on any surface other than water.
- Any problems resulting from excessive sun exposure or winds on the beach, such as discolored graphics and materials.
- Damage due to improper storage and handling of the kite, non – observance of operating instructions, insufficient care and maintenance.
- Kite used after a defect or damage appears.
- Damage due to excess inflation.
- Damage caused by any modifications, or defacing the serial number.
- Damage from incorrect usage
- Kite without the proof of purchase.
- Damage caused by transport, loading, unloading, dropping, handling out of water or similar.
- Defects or damage caused by modifying the kite in any way.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Every damage on the kite caused by impact with everything else other than water
Boards
Covered by warranty:
- Any manufacturer’s defect as determined by Fluid kiteboarding.
- Regular use or kiteboard crashed in the water:
- Broken board (within 6 months after purchasedate.)
- Broken rail
- Delamination
- Damaged insert or fin holes
Not covered by warranty:
- Dents on the surface on both deck and the bottom.
- Any problems resulting from misuse, abuse, impact on any surface other than water..
- Any problems resulting from excessive sun exposure or winds on the beach, such as discolored graphics and materials.
- Damage due to improper storage and handling of the kiteboard, insufficient care and maintenance & assembly.
- Board used after a defect or damage appears.
- Damage caused by any modifications, or defacing the serial number.
- Damage from riding with any footstraps and screws other than Fluid kiteboarding.
- Board without the proof of purchase.
- Damage or defects caused by exposure to temperature over 55 and under 0 degrees Celsius.
- Damage caused by transport, loading, unloading, dropping, handling out of water or similar.
- Defects or damage caused by modifying the kiteboard in any way.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Scratches.
- Every damage on the kiteboard caused by impact with everything else other than water.
Other items
Covered by warranty:
- Any manufacturer’s defect as determined by Fluid kiteboarding.
Not covered by warranty:
- Any problems resulting from misuse, abuse, impact on any surface other than water..
- Any problems resulting from excessive sun exposure or winds on the beach, such as discolored graphics and materials.
